Gaetano Bonino, who was an apprentice at some of the most famous leather studios, has created his own workshop at Cavallerizza street, in the district of Chiaia.Since 1946, his magnificent bags, belts and wallets are made at the workshop, now located in the working class area of Naples, where the leather workers still cut and sew the leather. Belts and wallets are cut in the finest skins, and when you visit the workshop, it is not unusual to see exotic skins of various colours, prepared to build bespoke bags for the regular customers.
The brand Emilie Patine is born thanks to the perseverance of the talented Emilie, a real artist of the colours in the service of the art of patina. Zampa di Gallina has asked Emilie to exerce her artistic skills on our Bonino wallets for a marvellous result which makes each card holder unique and original.
